Who are we?

The Compagnie Européenne des Parfums has been manufacturing and distributing French perfumes since 1973 under the iconic brand name Christine Arbel Paris.

1973: Creation of the Compagnie Européenne des Parfums in the Nancy area. The company manufactures and markets children's fragrances under license worldwide.
2008: CEP moves to Dijon and refocuses its development strategy on its own brand Christine Arbel Paris.
2012 : The flagship perfume Mademoiselle Arbel in Paris by Christine Arbel is launched. Today it is a best seller in mass distribution.
May 2019: The COSMOS ORGANIC certified STORY BIO range is launched at low prices in French supermarkets (Carrefour, Leclerc, Intermarché, Cora, Casino, Monoprix).

2020: the Christine Arbel brand goes greener and launches its first perfume in line with its Natural & Responsible Beauty commitments, Madame Arbel Paris c'est chic!
January 2021: CEP adds the SIOBHAN brand to its portfolio. This premium perfume brand is intended for export and specialised channels with the promise of reinventing natural perfumery.

In almost 50 years of existence, the philosophy of C.E.P. has remained the same:
All our fragrances are developed, manufactured and packaged exclusively in France. Our fragrances are designed by master perfumers from Grasse (the world capital of perfume) in accordance with international quality standards. Our aim is to create accessible, modern and high quality perfumes in the pure respect of the French perfumery tradition.
